Nollywood is Empire's new State

While some American series-loving fans are still grappling with the divided attention between Kerry Washington's Scandal and Cookie Lyon's Empire, a tweep on twitter has bestowed the latter with her undistracted love and addiction.

@ImaniDH has put together a Nollywood Empire cast which has gone viral!

She juxtaposes the individual actors/actresses in Empire with our own look-alike Nollywood actors/actresses.

 

She believes Funke Akindele can pass off the role of the 'take no nonsense outspoken' Cookie Lyon, adding, Jenifa‘would actually slay Cookie’s role though.’

For Lucious Lyon, played by Terrence Howard, she chose Ghanaian actor Van Vicker

As Cookie’s boyfriend and Empire’s former head of security Malcolm Deveaux, she replaced Derek Luke with Emeka Ike.

This one is a difficult but almost perfect match. Eniola Badmus as Gabby Sidibe. The Yoruba actress has compared herself to Gabourey in the past, so we agree she’ll be a shoo-in as Lucious’ former assistant, Becky.
